Crash/Accident Reports

Crash reports are available online after being approved, typically within 10 business days of the incident. Hit-and-run crash investigations may take up to 30 business days to complete.

Reports for incidents occurring before 2015 or incidents involving fatalities are not available online. Complete an open records request for fatality reports.

To request photos, video, witness statements and other crash details, please email the Overland Park Police Department records division using the email address below, or make a request in person at the address below. Records delivered via email are free. A $10 fee is required for physical copies of photos and videos.
