Crash Reports

Crash reports are available online after being approved, typically within 10 business days of the incident.

Reports for incidents occurring before 2015 or incidents involving fatalities are not available online. Complete an open records request for fatality reports and associated documents, videos, and photos.

To request photos, video, witness statements and other crash details, please contact the Overland Park Police Department records division using one of the methods below. There are no fees associated with records delivered electronically. A $10 fee is required for physical copies of photos and videos.

No dashes or spaces. Four-digit year followed by a six-digit sequence number.
